Sponsor someone's Yoga journey!

Yoga lessons should be available to everyone! That's what we believe - at the same time, unfortunately, we also have bills to pay. That's why we offer the following:

Contact us if you want to sponsor a person who cannot afford the money to go to one of our yoga lessons by paying the lesson for them - and because we encourage this wonderful gift, you get a percentage off of the price:

  • 15% off of group classes
  • 20% off of private classes

Please, be aware: There has to be some sort of prove of the neediness of that person, e.g. a registration of being unemployed or something similar.

If you are interested in sponsoring somebody, but you don't know anyone who could come into consideration, feel free to contact us nonetheless! You can then choose out of two options: We either publish your offer for someone in need to approach us, or we will inform you as soon as we run into such a person for you to get in contact with her or him.

We're all about spreading the love for yoga and bringing people together! We also believe that it is impossible for all people on earth to be as rich in resources as the people in industrialised countries are at the moment. The wealthy need to give for everyone to arrive on one level. Only then can we all feel as united as we truly are.

Lessons

Hatha Yoga

When thinking of Yoga how it is practiced in western countries, we mostly mean Hatha Yoga: A physical practice consisting of Asanas (poses), focus and control of the breath. Traditionally though Hatha Yoga was a practice to prepare the body for meditation. In our Hatha Yoga classes we put an emphasis on regaining that spiritual aspect. This way you can not only bring your physical practice to the next level, but also your non-physical.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is characteristically a faster paced practice of Asanas (poses) that are woven together to a flow of movement with coherent breathing (typically one breath - one movement). We encourage our students to experience Vinyasa Yoga out of a dancer's perspective, making the practice graceful and fluent. Our Vinyasa flows often come with workout elements to strengthen your balance and stamina, the perfect compensation for our modern lives that are far too often seated and inactive.

All our classes are suited for all levels, a Vinyasa class might not be your first choice though if you are completely new to yoga, as the pace gives less chance for assists.

Yin Yoga

With its longer held and grounding shapes Yin Yoga is the perfect way to unwind. Yin Yoga targets fascia, ligaments and meridians and imposes healthy stress on joints and connective tissue. Hereby it supports the release of physical and non-physical blockades, leading to more flexibility and relaxation. Yin Yoga requires hardly any physical strength and is especially well suited for people recovering from injuries or as a practice shortly before bedtime.

Restorative Yoga

As the name says the purpose of Restorative Yoga lies in the restoration of a healthy and stress-free body and mind. Shapes are held between 5 and 30 min long, giving the body the opportunity to completely relax and calm down. Our days are often filled with activities that stimulate the sympathetic nervous system ("fight and flight"). Restorative Yoga gives you the chance to let the parasympathetic nervous system ("rest and digest") take over and renew your energy. Just like Yin Yoga a Restorative Yoga class is therefore also especially well suited for people recovering from injuries and to guide you into deep sleep.

Yin Yan Yoga

A Yin Yan Yoga class, also called "Vin Yin Yoga" (from Vinyasa and Yin), combines the powerful flow of a Vinyasa Yoga class with the relaxing recovery phase of a Yin Yoga or Restorative Yoga class. It is the perfect composition for anyone who strives for the balance of strength and flexibility, of challenge and surrender.

Peak Pose Flow

We also offer classes that are aimed at gaining strength and balance in a certain way to achieve a certain advanced Asana (pose), a so-called peak pose. The practice strengthens specific muscle groups while lengthening others in preparation of a certain goal. If you have a pose in mind that you always wanted to master, this might be the class for you.

Workshops

We offer workshops to many different topics and in different time frames. Here are examples of popular workshop topics:
